Beta 4 is a testing build, not a production one — but it's the signal that PostgreSQL 19 is nearly done. With the release candidate slated for early October, GA could follow the same month, keeping the project on its usual autumn cadence. If you maintain extensions or run anything against the 19 branch, this is the build to test against; the feature set is effectively frozen now. Everyone else can wait for the RC.
