The pitch is narrow and practical: connectors into the software advisors already live in — Charles Schwab, BlackRock, Addepar, Envestnet, Orion, iCapital — layered on top of the existing Microsoft 365, Salesforce, DocuSign, FactSet and Morningstar plumbing, plus a library of packaged skills for the recurring grind. Those cover pre-meeting prep, portfolio-rebalance review, post-meeting notes and follow-up, prospect intake, and compliance and AI-policy review. The plug-in itself is free; you pay for the Cowork seat underneath, roughly $70–120 per user per month, with a one-time usage credit for firms that request a license before the end of September. The finance angle isn't really the interesting part — the shape is. This is Anthropic packaging first-party connectors and Agent Skills into a sold, regulated-vertical product, with the consequential calls (investment recommendations, client communications) explicitly gated behind human approval. It lands days after OpenAI pointed a ChatGPT variant at bankers and equity researchers, so read it as a template rather than a one-off: a domain skill-pack plus vendor connectors, shipped as a plug-in on top of the general assistant instead of a new model. If you build agent tooling, that's the pattern to watch.
