Until this week Sandbox ran wherever Vercel decided to put it. As of Wednesday you pick the region per sandbox, set a project default, and configure failover regions when a primary is unavailable. If you're running Sandbox next to a database pinned to one region, that closes the round-trip that made the pairing awkward. It's a small change, but a real one for latency-sensitive agent and code-execution workloads.
