Made by Google debuts the Pixel 11 lineup on a new Tensor G6

  • Announced

The hardware itself is a consumer story, but the developer-facing part is the silicon and the on-device model work riding on it. The Pixel 11 family debuts the Tensor G6 paired with the Titan M3 security chip, and Google leaned the keynote on Gemini running locally: Magic Capture, which watches the viewfinder and fires the shutter on its own; Camera Looks, which trains a reusable HDR+ style from your own photos; Live Transcribe gaining American Sign Language recognition through the camera; and Rambler, a voice-input mode tuned for run-on, filler-heavy speech. None of this is a platform release — Android 17 shipped back in June, and there was no new SDK or API level attached to the event. What ships here is a reference device for the current on-device-AI stack, which is the piece that matters if you build against Pixel hardware.
