Cloudflare has been running Media over QUIC relays across its network for a while; the missing piece for production use was isolation and access control. That arrived on July 31. A new provisioning API creates an isolated relay scoped to your application, with distinct credentials for who can publish and who can only watch, and the relays go live across Cloudflare's edge within seconds — nothing to deploy, size, or load-balance. The implementation now tracks draft-14 and draft-16 of the MoQ Transport protocol with authentication, and you can drive it from either the API or the dashboard. It's free during the beta. If you've been eyeing MoQ for low-latency streaming but didn't want to stand up relay infrastructure, this is the part that makes it usable.
