Until now you read it as reports and downloads. As of Wednesday it's a connector: open the connectors directory in claude.ai, enable the Anthropic Economic Index, and ask questions in plain language. Nothing to install, and it works with any model. One caveat the team is upfront about: the numbers reflect Claude usage, not the labor market as a whole, and Claude will point you back to the source data and its limits as you dig. It's a small release, but a tidy example of the pattern Anthropic keeps pushing — turn a static dataset into something you interrogate conversationally.
