Agent Script now has a full open-source toolchain: parser, linter, compiler, Language Server Protocol support, and editor integrations, all under Apache 2.0. That's the kind of surface area that usually stays closed until a platform has already locked in enough adoption to afford openness — shipping it at GA rather than after is a deliberate signal about ecosystem strategy. The Summer '26 release also promotes Agentforce Builder and agent preview CLI to GA, completing the build-to-deploy loop inside Salesforce's agentic platform. The LSP coverage in particular means editors outside the official Salesforce tooling can participate without waiting for first-party plugins.
