Copilot CLI will stop receiving new features and security updates from AWS on June 12. The project stays on GitHub as open-source, but it's effectively unsupported from that date — no patches, no fixes, no roadmap. Teams using Copilot for ECS deployments should be evaluating alternatives now: Amazon ECS Service Connect CLI is the obvious AWS-native path, though any IaC tooling that covers your ECS footprint works. Four days is not a lot of runway if this is still wired into your pipelines.
