Google Cloud announced that Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate support has reached general availability for Oracle Database@Google Cloud. The integration allows teams to configure ongoing data replication and transformation pipelines between Oracle databases hosted on Google Cloud and other target systems without leaving the managed Oracle on GCP environment. GoldenGate GA status removes a significant barrier for enterprises considering Oracle Database@Google Cloud for hybrid or migration workloads, since change-data-capture pipelines are often a prerequisite before decommissioning on-premises Oracle instances. Teams already running Oracle on Google Cloud can now enable replication directly through the managed service rather than deploying and operating a separate GoldenGate environment.
